Cinderella previewed!

HJ finally previewed Cinderella, with a buttload of new pics! Apparently, she's going to be the strongest Grimoire, like the final bosses Queen Aldra and the witch were before her.

Back when we saw her profile, I heard something like she sticking the "Winter Diamond" to a butt, but I thought it would be like the butt of her halberd or something... yet no:

Seems like you can recharge the crystal during the fight, to use it for defense or for a powerful finishing move (turning people into an ice statue, if I recall from last time). Also, she can cause blizzards, grab and freeze an opponent's arm, or throw a pumpkin made with snow.

They also mention that she has high heels typical of a Queen (japanese for "dominatrix" here?), and though they're made of ice, being see-through makes them feel Cinderella-like.

And lastly, though she's an S, she also has some parts of her behaving like an M (of course, lol).

Apparently, next post they'll preview the next OVA, plus the extra bonuses!
Whee, the 28th is just ahead!

  1. Awesome!!!

    Can't wait!!

I might be able to get my hands on a Toranoana or Melonbooks goodie this time round.

Please give plenty of attention to Kaguya!!!

  2. Wow a killer butt plug?!! I guess she has a Freezing fart attack too. She does seem like a powerful boss type but I'm sure The Swamp Witch would still take her down!!

    1. Is it actually a butt plug lol? looks a bit high up to be actually going into the uhhh... "hole" and what would the fart attack be in that case? launching the plug out of her behind at an enemy?
As for their strength in battle, going off the book lore alone (the only part of Queen's Blade I consider canon), they both seem pretty overpowered, I think it would be a tie unless Werbellia is stupid enough to actually get grabbed by Cinderella which is basically an instant kill, but I need to read up on everything we know about the two of them first.

  3. So...with Queen's Blade at 19 characters and Queen's Blade Rebellion with about 15ish, isn't it a little odd that Queen's Blade Grimoire is only getting 10?

    1. Well, from Jill's interview the other day, it sounds like she's still doing books for them, right?
Just because she's the last boss and the strongest, doesn't mean she has to be the last char... I guess we'll see in a few months, huh.

    2. We can only hope. I'd love to see more girls in action.

    3. Maybe we'll get a Queen's Blade Grimoire 2? and honestly I was kind of expecting Cinderella to be the last from it says about her being the main villain, and it makes sense if you look at the numbers.
Queen's Blade had 19 characters and then we lost a few for Rebellion's total, and then we lost a few more for Grimoire's total.
I hope there are more, but I'm pretty satisfied with the current roster, I just wish there was an Aladdin/Genie girl and some of the other well known fairy tale characters.

  5. Am I the only one around here to be disapointed about her design?

    1. No. Most of the Grimoire designs were disappointing, honestly, especially in comparison to the other series.

Kaguya is the only one I truly like. Zara is decent but I feel something is missing. Like, she should be older and sultrier.

I wonder if there is another QB series after this. Because QB might be done if this doesn't do all that well.

    2. There are very few people disappointed in Cinderella's unique and awesome design. For me it's the exact opposite, and Grimoire is BY FAR my favorite of the Queen's Blade series, it's all thanks too the fairy tale characters and their designs which are far beyond anything I expected from Queen's Blade, especially here with Cinderella, THIS IS WHAT I WANT from a sexy Fairy Tale Fantasy villainess.
As for the other Queen's Blade series, there are some good designs, and characters but most of them are hit and miss with a lot of random forgettable characters who just seemed to have been tossed in for no discernable reason, in Grimoire the only one I don't care for is Goldie.

Personally though I would put more clothes on most of the females and tone down the fanservice by a lot because most people dismiss the series out right as being misogynistic and perverted (I personally censor a lot of the characters myself), but it has (or had, since it was doomed from the start with the subject matter) a lot of potential to be something really special.

    3. I actually dislike Grimoire,I feel that the designs are too over complicated compared to Queen's Blade or some of the characters in Rebellion. =/
